InSPIRE was piloted at a small alternative school in Pennsylvania.
The objective of the program was to increase self-control and self-esteem while decreasing aggression and depression among
children who suffered from ADD/ADHD, attachment disorder, bipolar disorder conduct disorders, depression and/or obsessive
compulsive disorder.
The progam consists of a classroom curriculum, a group counseling curriculum and a martial arts
curriculum. Additionally, multi-family therapy is suggested for the families of students in the program as well as individual
therapy.
